RESP 109S Clinical Applic & Procedures I

This course is an introduction to the health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply respiratory theory, skills, and concepts to general floor care. The student develops basic skills in using respiratory care equipment and to understand the function, and application of equipment. Clinical experiences should also include administering small volume nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, aerosol and humidity, and patient assessment.
