NURS 230S Issues & Trends in Nurs Practi
This course reviews nursing history and presents current issues, problems, and emerging trends. Legal and ethical issues as they relate to the practice of nursing, professional organizations, educational preparation and credentials for health care providers, role transition from student to practitioner, and the political process will be explored. Management styles and skills in the delivery care system will also be presented. Corequisites: NURS 220S, NURS 225S, SPCH ELECTIVE. (2-0-2)
